Booking a table

Bookings are made through the GoTable booking module, which you see on this site as a button and on the page Book a table. There you enter your name, email address, phone number, the date and time you would like, the number of guests and any requests. We use these details only to record your booking, send you a confirmation and reach you if anything changes.

GoTable processes these details on our behalf and sets cookies to do so. That is why we only load the floating booking button after you have given consent (see Cookies below). How GoTable handles data is described in GoTable’s privacy statement.

Getting in touch

Using the contact form you enter your name, email address, optionally your phone number, the subject and your message. The form opens your own email program with the message in it, so you send it to info@eetcaferemise.nl yourself. If you email, call or message us directly, we use your details only to answer your question. We do not keep messages longer than needed to deal with them.

Visiting the website

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. As with any website, the server records technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, the time and the type of browser. This is needed to display and secure the site. We only keep statistics with your consent (see Cookies below); we do not track you across other websites.

Fonts and images are hosted on our own site; no files are loaded from Google or other parties, apart from the booking module mentioned above.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies itself. Third-party services that do set cookies are only loaded after you have given consent in the cookie bar. These are:

• The floating GoTable booking button at the bottom right of every page.

If you decline, we load none of these and the site works exactly the same. You can then book via the page Book a table: there the GoTable booking form is part of the page, and GoTable’s cookies are needed to make your booking. We remember your choice in your browser for six months; you can change it below at any time.

Reviews on the homepage

On the homepage we show a few reviews that guests have posted publicly on Google, with first name and date. Is your review among them and would you rather it was not? Send a message to info@eetcaferemise.nl and we will remove it.

Links to other websites

This site links to Tripadvisor, Untappd, Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps, Booking.com, route websites and the websites of nearby accommodation and events, among others. When you click such a link you leave our site and that website’s privacy policy applies.

Who we share data with

We do not sell data and only share it with parties needed to run the site and the bookings: GoTable for bookings and GitHub for hosting the website. Beyond that, only when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can always ask which data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. To do so, send an email to info@eetcaferemise.nl; we will respond within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
